Alan Warburton (b. 1980) is a queer British artist whose technologically
articulate practice has involved the production of short films, prints,
sculptures, 3D models, AR and VR experiences. He has exhibited
internationally at institutions and festivals including The Photographers'
Gallery, Carnegie Museum of Art, Transmediale, Ars Electronica, Southbank
Centre and the Barbican. He is an artist-in-residence at London's Somerset
House Studios.

Homo Economicus (2018) is a collection of three video works exploring how
men working in the City of London’s financial district both modify and
commodify their own bodies. The work intentionally conflates the corporate
and the corporeal, questioning male self-worth and its apparent apotheosis
in the hyper-competitive financial services industry.
