There are 2 ways to verify your identity for Companies House

This service uses GOV.=E2=80=8BUK One Login to verify your identity.
GOV.=E2=80=8BUK One Login will ask you a few simple questions to work out t=
he best way for you to verify your identity online. The options available m=
ay depend on your device, whether you have photo ID, and the type of ID you=
have.

2. Using an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP)
You can ask an ACSP to verify your identity on your behalf =E2=80=93 for ex=

When an agent has agreed to verify your identity, you=E2=80=99ll need to gi=
ve them documents from an approved list as evidence of your identity. They =
may charge a fee for their services.
We=E2=80=99ve designed our identity verification process to be simple, secu=
re, and robust. Verification will use existing forms of identification, suc=
h as a passport or driving licence. These requirements will not create a di=
gital ID for company directors or people with significant control (PSCs). I=

Filing your next confirmation statement after 18 November

Any director who continues to act without verifying their identity will be =
committing an offence. The company is also committing an offence if they fa=

o-not-verify, Companies House may take enforcement action. This may include=
prosecution and financial penalties for the company and its directors.
