British artist Terry Flaxton (b. 1953) has worked for decades with sound c=
omposition=2C photography and film=2C developing a particular interest in=
analogue video during the 1970s. He received a BA Hons in Communication D=
esign in 1979 and spent over 30 years working as a cinematographer=2C whic=
h included shooting the third ever electronically captured movie with Chan=
nel 4 and the BFI=E2=80=99s Out of Order in 1986. His work today focuses o=
n durational forms of the digital including sound=2C video=2C print and in=
stallation.

Intersection of Dreams is a response to the effects on the young of older=
generations' curation of the planet=E2=80=99s resources. First exhibited=
as a triptych of screens=2C the work asks the viewer to gaze on the icon=
of hope and redemption of more than a billion of the world=E2=80=99s popu=
lace - the crucifixion of someone who continually gives their life to rede=
em our internal state. The viewer is at the same time being viewed by thos=
e that come after us=2C our children. Both the installation and the releas=
e on Sedition ask us to consider the meaning not only of the images themse=
lves=2C but the value of art in a world who=E2=80=99s values are now deepl=
y in question.

portant composers through the use of auto sensory meridian response record=

oung of older generations' curation of the planet=E2=80=99s resources. Fir=
st exhibited as a triptych of screens=2C the work asks the viewer to gaze=
on the icon of hope and redemption of more than a billion of the world=E2=
=80=99s populace - the crucifixion of someone who continually gives their=
life to redeem our internal state. The viewer is at the same time being v=
iewed by those that come after us=2C our children. Both the installation a=
nd the release on Sedition ask us to consider the meaning not only of the=
images themselves=2C but the value of art in a world who=E2=80=99s values=
are now deeply in question. </p>

of England Academy in Bristol. In mid-November=2C Flaxton exhibits at the=
Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival in Turkey where he will=
