Hi Sue,

Most business owners set a marketing goal. Four calls a week. Two posts. On=
e campaign.

It works brilliantly, until you get busy.

Then delivery takes over, the goal slips, and by Friday you've done none of=
 it.

One of our private coaching clients had exactly this. She'd set herself fou=
r conversations a week. Fine when things were calm. The
moment her desk filled up, it vanished.

So we changed the target.

Instead of a weekly goal, she set a floor. An absolute minimum she commits =
to every single day, even flat out. Fifteen or twenty
minutes. No exceptions.

We also gave her mop-up time, a bit of slack in the diary, so when one task=
 overran it didn't wipe out her outreach.

A goal is what you hit on a good week. A floor is what keeps you moving on =
a bad one.
