Job Title: SENIOR BUYER The Opportunity This role requires stakeholder 
engagement at many levels within Jaguar Land Rover and with external 
suppliers. The role will be responsible for organising a number of high 
value commodities, with impact across several key functions of the 
business. A varied skill set is required due to the speciality of the 
commodities being purchased. The role requires a high level of 
interaction internally, as well as a continual flow of high level 
communication with the supply base and overseas Factories. The 
successful candidate will be responsible for enabling the purchase and 
supply chain of global production for specified projects through 
negotiated costs with suppliers and deliver class leading value to the 
business. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities ¿ Lead meetings with 
the internal customer to understand requirements and provide update on 
project progress Work with Tier 1 suppliers to optimise Supply and 
Commercial solutions Manage T1 suppliers as relevant to BESPOKE Work 
with internal / external stakeholders to agree processes / procedures 
incl. RACI documents ¿ Lead discussions with different areas of JLR to 
define requirement and gather information relevant to projects ¿Work 
with internal stakeholders in Oxford Road and Core Purchasing, and take 
appropriate action to resolve any issues which may arise ¿ Engage the

batteries or Power Electronics to develop truly Global Commodity

Delivery performance and provide competitive advantage to Jaguar Land 
Rover, its customers and suppliers (based on SCD and CBP minimum 
standards). Drive the vision of One Global Purchasing Team by drawing on 
the expertise of regional colleagues, and assessing JLR¿s global 
position for relevant commodities and supply markets. Through engagement 
of the regional teams, develop intimate global market knowledge of high 
voltage (e.g. future trend, cost characteristics, statutory legislation 
and developments within the sector) with a view to provide effective

introduction of the new 6 Cylinder Engines into JLR¿s Engine 
Manufacturing Centre working to specific time and budget constraints. 
This role requires stakeholder engagement at many levels within Jaguar 
Land Rover and with external suppliers to ensure programme objectives 
are achieved in a timely manner. OPPORTUNITIES. THIS ROLE WILL 
CO-ORDINATE COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH INTRODUCTION OF NEW 4 
CYLINDER ENGINES INTO JLR'S ENGINE MANUFACTURING CENTRE WORKING SPECIFIC
