Hi Joseph,

It was good to speak to you this morning, as promised, please find the 
job description for the Buyer role with JLR (order number 31920) at a 
pay rate of £28.91 LTD per hour.  Please can you reply to confirm that 
you are happy to be put forward for the role?  As discussed, I also need 
you to forward me a copy of your passport and your right to work in the

Position Description:
Senior Buyer ¿ Managing supplier relationships and supplier performance 
¿ Drive continuous improvement within area of responsibility ¿ Deliver 
LEAP Cost Targets (cost savings) on current business and cost avoidance 
on future programmes ¿ Work as part of a matched trio with the climate 
engineering & cost engineering in strategy development ¿ Work with 
manufacturing, capacity team and MP&L to understand constraints ¿ Remain 
abreast of industry environment to identify potential risks & 
opportunities to the business
Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIREDl 1) ¿ Proven track record in a purchasing or 
other commercial negotiating environment ¿ Strong sense of `business 
acumen¿ and analytical skills ¿ Understands total cost of acquisition 
impact and end customer value relationship ¿ Negotiation 2) ¿ Strong 
teamwork skills ¿ Project management skills ¿ Strong stakeholder 
management and relationship management skills and experience 3) ¿ 
Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse at all 
levels of the organisation and with external suppliers/customers ¿

Ideally the successful candidate will have CIPS or a degree or 
equivalent in engineering, supply chain, business or technical field. 
The successful candidate will demonstrate progressive experience in
