Position Description:
The department: Quality Engineering QVoC is a key driver of Voice of
the Customer and Quality into the creation of new features and
technology projects. We ensure customer needs are identified and embed
in the early definition of new technologies, in support of advanced
programmes. Our main interfaces within JLR are Vehicle Engineering and
Research, although the successful candidate will also have to engage
with other areas such as Global Product Strategy, Global Customer
Insight Team and Product Development ¿ Support the definition of
Customer Requirements for new technologies through collation of VoC data
and application of the Kano tool. ¿ Analysing customer feedback through
external/internal data from a variety of source including JD Power
APEAL, Customer Surveys / Clinics and Competitor Benchmarking ¿ Drive
and support best practice and process improvements within Quality
Engineering, Vehicle engineering and Research. ¿ Perform customer
vehicle assessments to act as the independent view in order to influence
new programmes. ¿ Undertake any other work as directed by their line
manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to
time
Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED: 1)Previous experience within a Product
Development department 2)Previous experience of leading the resolution
of business, technical and process issues within a project team
environment. 3)Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
