From 09:30 until 14:00, extensive road closures will be in place for a 10k
running event, starting at Piccadilly and finishing at Whitehall via Regent
Street, Trafalgar Square, Victoria Embankment and Westminster Bridge. Large
crowds are expected and delays may be experienced in the wider area.
Ongoing
A40 Westway
The A40 Westway will remain closed westbound between Marylebone Flyover and
the Westway Roundabout until further notice. The A40 Westway remains open
eastbound.
This is so we can carry out extensive structural inspections to determine
when it will be safe for the route to re-open, following a bus fire beneath
the Westway at Westbourne Park.
Local bus routes will experience delays. Signed diversion routes are in
place for general traffic, but if you are travelling in the area, allow more
time for your journey, consider alternative routes and check before you
travel
