Some of you may not be aware as you aren't on social media so this is an
email that I never wanted to send. And I rarely send sad news so I'm so
sorry. XX
On Monday evening we made the most difficult decision of our lives, to say
goodbye to our amazing boy.

hearts are broken but we knew you were ready Weasel.
Degenerative myelopathy took hold of your aging body so quickly.
Our main priority was that Weasel wasn't experiencing any pain. He had
medication that continued to work, so he was pain free.

Degenerative myelopathy, which is common in elderly dogs, is a paralysis of
the spine that then causes a deterioration in movement , paralysis and
determination in quality of life. If you haven't heard of this, like we
hadn't, please do Google as it's different symptoms to canine arthritis. I
think it's good to know what to look out for.

had advanced symptoms very quickly.
We have never felt grief so painful as this and the cottage feels empty
without you. I know the tears will ease because we know how blessed we have
been to have found you 12 years ago. You had over 14 years of adventures.
We couldn't ask for more.
Thank you our handsome boy. You have filled our life with amazing memories
and such wonderful love. You loved having your photo taken and you even
managed to sneak under the tree on Sunday for one last photo.
Peter collected him yesterday and he is sitting back under the Christmas
tree. A spot I know he would have chosen.
For anyone else who too is experiencing grief and loss we are sending our
love. xx
It has helped knowing we have Christmas and New Year guests to welcome.
Keeping me busy as at the moment my best friend is not by my side to help me
with all the jobs!
Thank you for reading our wonderful stories and all your beautiful messages
of support. It has helped knowing he was loved by everyone who met him.

On Monday evening we made the most difficult decision of our lives, to =

hearts are broken but we knew you were ready Weasel.<br>

Degenerative myelopathy took hold of your aging body so quickly.<br>
Our main priority was that Weasel wasn't experiencing any pain. He =
had medication that continued to work, so he was pain free. <img =

we hadn't, please do Google as it's different symptoms to canine =
arthritis. I think it's good to know what to look out for. <img =

We have never felt grief so painful as this and the cottage feels empty =
without you. I know the tears will ease because we know how blessed we =
have been to have found you 12 years ago. You had over 14 years of =
adventures.<br>
We couldn't ask for more.<br>
<br>
Thank you our handsome boy. You have filled our life with =
amazing memories and such wonderful love. You loved having your photo =
taken and you even managed to sneak under the tree on Sunday for one =
last photo.<br>
<br>
Peter collected him yesterday and he is sitting back under the Christmas =
tree. A spot I know he would have chosen.<br>
<br>
For anyone else who too is experiencing grief and loss we are =
sending our love. xx<br>

It has helped knowing we have Christmas and New Year guests to welcome. =
Keeping me busy as at the moment my best friend is not by my side =
to help me with all the jobs!<br>
