Sorry for the delay in coming back to you and thank you for your patience.
We have had to think long and hard about this.
Really we should be asking the guys what they want to pay as you contacted
us but we�ve had a chat with our accountant on what he thinks the business
is worth and what the business is worth to us.
There are a few things that we feel needs to be taken into account:
We currently have two quite large contracts that make up the bulk of our
business. They do go through stages when the are quiet as JLR has been for
the past 6 months but they�ve started to ramp up again significantly with
over 100 senior positions that have been advertised this month alone. The
more it ramps up the more we understand that we will need a larger team.
We are currently struggling to look after the business that we�ve got. For
instance 40 Data inputters come on the system last week which need to be
filled asap hence our lateness in replying to you. Potential there for
next year is easy �1million plus turnover. Mondelez is a steady income for
us and very similar to JLR it has been the bulk of our business this year
with a turnover of �1 million plus. We have been engaged on smaller
contracts also such as Thwaites, Calor Gas, Zenith, Eon (who we are now on
their talent system)
We very rarely do sales calls which means that companies come to us
regularly enough to keep our business afloat but we do understand the need
for an outside company to grow the business and to actively attack the
recruitment business just in the midlands area would create a lot of
business. With a strong team and aggressive sales there is no reason why
this business should not be turning over �5 million plus.
With more staff the perm side could be ramped up significantly an area
that we are not developing.
Sarah Harvey is an already established brand. Pretty much anyone in the
Coventry West Midlands and Warwickshire who has dealt in recruitment over
the past 40 years will know of us. There is no reason why offices could
not be expanded in Birmingham and the surrounded areas.
Sarah Harvey were originally established in the centre of Birmingham and
Solihull and could re-appear quite easily with the right investment. The
established brand name is possibly the biggest asset.
Everything is in place for a company to take over and with investment
Sarah Harvey could become a major player.
The current website will be going into stage 2 this year where we are
developing a CRM attached to the back end. At present this is still in the
development side. For a small recruitment consultancy the traffic we
receive is tremendous and we have invested in this.
Sarah Harvey are based in Leamington spa Ideally situated for the main
motorways, London and the midlands. Its easy to attack the most UK areas
from here.
Another company asset would always be Sue unfortunately but in any
potential takeover she would be prepared to work for a while to ease a new
owner into the business. We would not really want to be here for any
longer than six months � 1 year and potentially part time or when the
business would need her.
On the whole this is a very lucrative business with an opportunity to
drive forward. Position, brand and experience should anyone decide to take
it on.
What we have taken into account are all these figures. To cut to the
chase.
We are looking for at a starting point of a �500k deal. How this would
work out would be negotiable
With Sue to stay on for six months to a year to help with the smooth
transition of the business to the new owners.
I would be happy to work on a consultancy base if needed.
This is based on Gross monthly profit for the past 46 months plus purchase
for goodwill.
Taking into account that Sue and I earn a comfortable salary at present
and could do so for the next 5 years at least until our retirement if we
decide that. That to us is worth at Least �500k plus on its own.
Sue would be prepared to negotiate a contract for the next six months.
The building is owned by Sarah Harvey Holdings which was bought in 2013.
We would be interested to include this in a separate deal or a lease
agreement can be negotiated or discussed with the new owners
Remember that this has been a business that we have owned for some years
now and built up from scratch. Through several down times and recessions.
We are still there. Just think where the business could be with
substantial investment.
If they are not interested then that is fine. We have had other interest
and we feel we are giving our business away quite cheaply.

more we understand that we will need a larger team. We are currently =
struggling to look after the business that we’ve got. For instance =
40 Data inputters come on the system last week which need to be filled =
asap hence our lateness in replying to you. Potential there for next =
year is easy =A31million plus turnover. Mondelez is a steady income for =
us and very similar to JLR it has been the bulk of our business this =
year with a turnover of =A31 million plus. We have been engaged on =
smaller contracts also such as Thwaites, Calor Gas, Zenith, Eon (who we =
are now on their talent system)<o:p></o:p></span></font></p><p =
class=3DMsoNormal><font size=3D2 face=3DCalibri><span =
style=3D'font-size:11.0pt'>We very rarely do sales calls which means =
that companies come to us regularly enough to keep our business afloat =
but we do understand the need for an outside company to grow the =
business and to actively attack the recruitment business just in =
the midlands area would create a lot of business. With a strong =
team and aggressive sales there is no reason why this business should =
not be turning over =A35 million plus.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p><p =
class=3DMsoNormal><font size=3D2 face=3DCalibri><span =
style=3D'font-size:11.0pt'>With more staff the perm side could be ramped =
up significantly an area that we are not =

an already established brand. Pretty much anyone in the Coventry West =
Midlands and Warwickshire who has dealt in recruitment over the past 40 =
years will know of us. There is no reason why offices could not be =
expanded in Birmingham and the surrounded =
areas.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p><p class=3DMsoNormal><font size=3D2 =
face=3DCalibri><span style=3D'font-size:11.0pt'>Sarah Harvey were =
originally established in the centre of Birmingham and Solihull and =
could re-appear quite easily with the right investment. The established =
