Hi, the orthopaedic doctor has rung and we've had a chat. Saint Cross
gave me the wrong boot because they didn't take into account the Grade 3
ankle sprain which has caused separate major ankle soft tissue damage. I
have to go to the fracture clinic in Coventry to be re-assessed as she is
not happy with what Saint Cross did. Stuart is taking me from 10:30
tomorrow so I won't be near the phone until we get back. What a complete
pain in the arse! On the plus side she said the good news is that due to
the position of the fracture I don't need surgery .. WHAT!?? Bad news, it
normally takes 6-8 weeks to heal. That's Christmas!
