Dear Owner,




Firstly, we would like to begin by thanking you all for the support you have 
shown since reopening our parks. As you can imagine, our teams had a mixture 
of emotions, especially knowing that the way we operate would be slightly 
different from what you would normally expect. However, the reopening went 
very smoothly, and that is a testament to you for adjusting to these changes 
and to the hard work our teams put into managing the precautions to keep you 
safe.




The reason for our email is following the Chancellor’s announcement last 
week that VAT will be reduced to help the holiday and hospitality sectors 
and we are pleased to inform you that the rate reduction can be applied to 
pitch fees, and as a valued owner, we will be passing this reduction onto 
yourselves.




Please note that any retrospective adjustment to VAT already invoiced is 
discretionary, and we will need to go through a process of reclaiming this 
back from HMRC, however, we believe that this is the right thing to do for 
our owners.




The VAT reduction will commence from today (15th July 2020) through to 12th 
January 2021 (182 days). The VAT credit will be applied automatically to 
your account to the end of the year that you have been invoiced for and when 
the pitch fee invoices are raised for the following year, a further VAT 
credit will be applied to the 12th of January; to a total of 182 days.




So far as VAT reductions are concerned, we are also passing these on to all 
park users in full by reducing the VAT-inclusive prices that we charge for 
qualifying food and hot non-alcoholic drink. If you have a food and beverage 
offering available to you on your park, we are encouraging our owners to 
take advantage of this and to safely use the on-site cafés and restaurants 
under the park’s guidelines.




As we now head into our peak season, this support from the Chancellor is 
welcomed to help invigorate the holiday and hospitality sectors and like us, 
we hope you will be pleased with this announcement.
