No new branch closures until at least 2026
We have extended our commitment to announce no new branch closures until at
least 2026. Whilst branch usage has been on the decline, five million
customers have visited a branch so far this year, demonstrating customers
still value face-to face contact for more complex banking enquiries and
needs.
We are investing to update and improve our branch network and have also
expanded the range of banking touchpoints in local communities across the UK
to include community popups, shared banking hubs and cash pods.
Alongside those face-to-face touchpoints, we are continuing to enhance your
experience across our telephony and digital channels.
