Hi Bob
The wall is going to be at 750mm high (10 courses), it will have a pillar
both ends so 4, once I've got it to a finished height I was going to give
you the option to see how it looks and then decide whether or not you would
like one in the middle. This quote didn't include the pointing on the house
but I'm happy to include that also.
With the railings I did text Susan to let her know that as I'm going to be
changing the measurements of the wall to make it central to the front door I
can't say for sure what the measurements would be until it has been set out
and built. Although once this is done I am happy to come back and fit them
for you.
The reason I ask for the materials upfront is so that for whatever reason
whether it be I can't get there or you decide to use somebody else I don't
end up having paid for lots of materials that aren't mine. As soon as the
deposit is sent I will send confirmation of everything being ordered and
dates of delivery etc.
The materials included on the quote are:
* 2x packs of red brick (this type of brick you can't order individually as
they don't stock them in store so they're only sold in packs)
* 150x blue bricks - for the brick on edge on top of the wall
* 1x ton of sand
* 1x ton of ballast for the concrete (footings)
* 10x cement
* Wall starter kits (to tie the old wall into the new wall)
* Skip hire
* Febmix
* Wall ties

Will this also include the pointing we asked for on the house.

One for full brick and one for the rail.
Can you make your invoice a little more explainable. You’ve not broke it
down.
I’m also not completely comfortable with the amount of deposit.
I generally asked for about 20% to 25% before I did any work. Especially for
someone I don’t know.
I’m in the opticians at present hence the email
