Winter Wonderland
From 12:00 on Thursday 21 November until Sunday 5 January, Winter Wonderland
will take place in Hyde Park.
During this time, nearby Tube stations such as Green Park and Knightsbridge
are expected to be extremely busy with customers arriving at and leaving the
event. These stations may be closed or exit-only during busy times to help
with crowd safety.
There are planned closures on some Tube lines during Winter Wonderland,
including the Piccadilly line on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November.
The following stations are expected to be less crowded and offer more travel
options, including Santander Cycles and bus services to Hyde Park:
* Bond Street (step-free access to the Elizabeth line) - within a 15-minute
walk to Winter Wonderland Gold and Red gates
* Paddington (for the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Bakerloo
lines, Elizabeth line and national rail services) - within a 20-minute walk
to Winter Wonderland Gold and Red gates
* Victoria (step-free access to the Victoria, Circle and District lines and
national rail services) - within a 20-minute walk to Winter Wonderland Blue
and Green gates

Jubilee line
Friday 22 until Sunday 24 November
Southwark station will be closed from 23:00 on Friday until end of the day
on Sunday
Use Waterloo station or local bus routes to continue your journey. This is
due to planned development work.
Piccadilly line
Thursday 21 November
Westbound trains (towards central London) will not stop at Caledonian Road
station
During these works, step-free access will be maintained, but you will not be
able to use the westbound platform.
You can use the Piccadilly line to travel eastbound from Caledonian Road to
Finsbury Park, where you can change for Piccadilly line services to central
London.
Alternatively, you can use local bus routes 17, 259 or 91 to King's Cross St
Pancras Tube station.
This is while we carry out works to the platforms at Caledonian Road

London Overground
The following closures are due to Network Rail maintenance, track and
infrastructure work.
Thursday 21 November
No westbound service from Camden Road to Willesden Junction after 23:45
Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes.
Friday 22 November
No southbound service from Willesden Junction to Shepherd's Bush until 06:15
Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes.
Saturday 23 November
No service between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction
Trains will run to/from Battersea Park after Wandsworth Road. Southern
Railway services will run between Battersea Park and Clapham Junction. Use
local bus routes.
Sunday 24 November
No service between Euston and Kilburn High Road until 12:00 and after 20:30
Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes. This is due to HS2 works.
Sunday 24 November
No service between Liverpool Street and Enfield Town/Cheshunt until 10:15,
and between Liverpool Street and Chingford until 14:15
Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes. Rail replacement buses
will run between Seven Sisters and Enfield Town/Cheshunt, and between
Hackney Downs and Chingford.
No service between Woodgrange Park and Barking Riverside all day, and no
service between Woodgrange Park and Gospel Oak until 13:15
Use alternative Tube services, or local or replacement bus routes. Until
13:30, rail replacement buses will run between Gospel Oak and Seven Sisters,
and between Walthamstow Central and Barking. After 13:30, rail replacement
buses will run between Woodgrange Park and Barking. Use bus route EL1
between Barking and Barking Riverside.
No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction
Use alternative Tube and rail services or local bus routes. Rail replacement
buses will run between Canada Water and Clapham Junction.
No service between Camden Road and Stratford after 22:15
Use alternative Tube services, or local or replacement bus routes. For
Caledonian Road & Barnsbury, use local bus route 274 to/from Camden Road or
walk to/from Highbury & Islington.
Monday 25 until Thursday 28 November
No service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:45 each night
Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes. Rail replacement buses
will run.
Elizabeth line
The following closures are due to Network Rail maintenance, track and Thames
Valley works.
Saturday 23 November
Reduced service between Paddington and Heathrow/Maidenhead from 21:00
Sunday 24 November
No service between Paddington and Heathrow/Slough until 11:15
Rail replacement buses will run between Paddington and Slough. After 11:15,
there will be a reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead. Trains
will not stop at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing. This is due to HS2
and maintenance works.
Monday 25 until Wednesday 27 November
Reduced service between Paddington and Heathrow/Maidenhead after 22:00 each
night
Trains will not stop at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing after 22:30
each night. Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes.
DLR
Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November
No service between Prince Regent and Beckton
Use local or replacement bus routes. This is due to planned maintenance
works.
London Trams
The following closures are due to essential maintenance work.
Saturday 23 November
No service after 20:30 between Reeves Corner and Beckenham Junction/Elmers
End, and between West Croydon and New Addington
Trams will run between Wimbledon and Reeves Corner. Use local bus routes.
Sunday 24 November
No service between Sandilands and Wellesley Road/George Street
There will be no Tram service to Elmers End. From 23:30, a reduced service
will run between Sandilands and New Addington/Beckenham Junction. Use local
buses. Tram services will run as normal on the rest of the network.
Buses and roads
Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes this weekend. We
expect to run a good service, but buses may be delayed, diverted or stop
short of their normal destination.
Until Monday 25 November
A40 Westway
From 22:00 on Friday 22 until 05:00 on Monday 25 November, the A40 Westway
will be closed eastbound between the Westway roundabout and Marylebone
Flyover.
Westbound traffic will not be affected.
The road will reopen on Monday 25 November to minimise disruption during the
festive season, with weekend closures resuming on Friday 3 January 2025.
Signed diversion routes will be in place but local roads are expected to be
extremely busy.
Use alternative routes such as the A312 The Parkway or the A406 North
Circular Road for connections with the A4.
For access to Westfield White City, walk or cycle where possible, or use
local public transport.

From 16:30 until 19:00, George Street will host a Christmas event. Large
crowds are expected.
O2 Arena
From 18:30 until 22:30, the O2 Arena will host a music event. Large crowds
and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the event.
Friday 22 November
Camden
Until 12:59, Chalton Street will be closed between Phoenix Road and Euston
Road to host a Christmas event. Large crowds are expected.
The Royal Albert Hall
From 15:00 until 23:59, there will be various road closures and restrictions
around The Royal Albert Hall while it hosts a music event.
Friday 22 and Saturday 23 November
Tottenham Hale
From 19:00 on Friday until 03:00 the following morning, and from 13:00 until
22:30 on Saturday, Drumsheds will host a music event. Large crowds and
increased traffic levels are expected.
Friday 22 until Sunday 24 November
Wembley Arena
From 19:00 until 22:30 each night, Wembley Arena will host a music event.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the
event.
Saturday 23 November
Victoria Park
From 08:00 until 14:00, Victoria Park will host a series of charity runs.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Brixton
From 10:30 until 14:30, a march is expected to take place from Windrush
Square. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Peckham
From 11:00 until 12:30, a march will take place from Peckham Rye to Windrush
Square, Brixton via Peckham Road, Camberwell Church Street, Coldharbour
Lane, Gresham Road and Brixton Road. Road closures will be in place along
the route. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected along the
route of the march.
Whitehall
From 12:00 until 17:00, a march and rally will take place at Whitehall.
Large crowds are expected.
O2 Arena
From 18:30 until 22:30, the O2 Arena will host a music event. Large crowds
and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the event.
Sunday 24 November
Allianz Stadium, Twickenham
From 12:30 until 22:00, the Allianz Stadium will host a rugby match, with
kick off at 16:10. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected in
the area before and after the match.
Santander Cycles
The following docking stations will be closed this weekend:
* Concert Hall Approach, Waterloo
* Stonecutter Street, Holborn
* Eaton Square, Belgravia
