Hi ,
If you are anything like me, you will love a stat.
According to Gartner, 83% of a buying journey happens before any discussion
with a supplier, and 75% of buyers prefer a sales experience that does not
involve a salesperson.
Even factoring in what I do, I found those stats eye-opening. It
significantly increases the work your pre-sale marketing needs to do to
close new business.
That means if your website, your content and how you are reaching potential
customers are not effective, you will be missing opportunities to generate
leads and close deals.
As a business owner, I would be surprised to find a business that didn’t
have growth aspirations for 2025 and one who didn’t feel under pressure to
deliver them.
I have had some exciting meetings with ambitious businesses this year, in
fact I have spoken with a lot of very upbeat CEOs and MDs - the one takeaway
from these meetings is the key component that is often missing is strategy.
People know where they need to get to, but don’t necessarily have robust
plans in place which outline ‘how’.
