Mortgage rates are coming down – is it time to fix?
Mortgage rates have been falling over recent weeks with the cheapest
residential rates for those with significant equity now below 4%, whereas a
year ago they were more than 5%.
That’s good news if your fixed or tracker term is ending in the next few
months, or has already ended, as in most cases the cheapest rates for new
customers are far cheaper than standard rates you’d move to after a fix or
tracker ends. Given the often huge price differentials, if you’re in that
boat, you should strongly consider checking rates now.
We can’t tell you if now’s the time to fix as we don’t have a crystal ball
(although Sergei is working on that) and it depends on your circumstances.

You could get a double welcome bonus of 10,000 Avios if you’re accepted for

Avios points can get you money off flights, hotels and car hire, or can be

MBNA has launched what’s now the longest 0% balance transfer credit card on
the market, which is good news if you pay credit card interest and want to
cut costs. It comes with 0% interest on balance transfers for up to 29
months for new MBNA customers only, though some with lower credit scores may
get offered a shorter 0% length.
Regardless of length, a fee of up to 3.49% of the amount transferred will

falling over recent weeks with the cheapest residential rates for those =
with significant equity now below 4%, whereas a year ago they were more =
than 5%. <br><br>That’s good news if your fixed or tracker term =
is ending in the next few months, or has already ended, as in most cases =
the cheapest rates for new customers are far cheaper than standard rates =
you’d move to after a fix or tracker ends. Given the often huge =
