National rail services from St Pancras
On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May, there will be no East Midlands Railway
(EMR) services between St Pancras International and Bedford and no
Thameslink trains between Harpenden and Bedford. This is due to Network Rail
engineering work.
For Luton Airport and for train connections from Luton towards Bedford, and
EMR destinations in the East Midlands and Yorkshire, use alternative trains
from King’s Cross to Hitchin and change there for replacement buses. There
will also be replacement buses for local journeys between Harpenden and
Luton.

Trains will not stop at Queensway after 22:00
Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes.
For access to the Central line, use Notting Hill Gate and Lancaster Gate
stations, which are approximately a seven-minute walk in either direction
along Bayswater Road. Bayswater station, on the Circle and District lines,
is approximately a two-minute walk away along Queensway.
This is due to infrastructure works.
Jubilee line
Friday 23 until Monday 26 May
Southwark station will be closed after 23:00 on Friday and all bank holiday
weekend
For the Jubilee line, use nearby Waterloo station. This is due to
construction work.
Piccadilly line
Saturday 24 until Monday 26 May
No service between Hammersmith and Cockfosters, including during Friday and
Saturday Night Tube
Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes. Rail replacement buses
will run. This is due to track work.

DLR
Saturday 31 May until spring 2026
Cutty Sark station will be closed
Use nearby Greenwich station for DLR and national rail services, or local
bus routes. Greenwich station is 650 metres away via Greenwich Church Street
and Greenwich High Road, or customers can use local bus route 199. Greenwich
Pier is also a short walk away from Cutty Sark station, for access to river
services.
Since the Silvertown Tunnel's opening on Monday 7 April, customers using pay
as you go for DLR journeys between Island Gardens and Cutty Sark/Greenwich
will have their journeys refunded for at least a year. Customers must touch
in and out at the station as usual, and the fare for the journey will be
taken as normal. A refund will then be issued to customers' cards within 14

Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes over the weekend. We
expect to run a good service, but buses may be delayed, diverted or stop
short of their normal destination.
Premier League football matches will be taking place at Craven Cottage and
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 25 May, with kick off at 16:00 for both
matches. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and
after each match, with local road closures in place around the stadiums.

event.
Friday 23 May
Central London
From 07:30 until 20:00, a charity walk will take place along the Thames
Path. Large crowds are expected.
From 11:00 until 15:00, a protest will take place on King Charles Street.
Large crowds are expected.
North London
From 15:00 until 17:30, a trophy parade consisting of two open-top buses
will take place from Edmonton Green Bus Station to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
via Fore Street, Silver Street, Lansdowne Road and Northumberland Park.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Friday 23 until Sunday 25 May
Brockwell Park
From 12:00 until 22:30 each day, a music festival will take place at
Brockwell Park. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Peckham Rye Park
From 14:00 until 22:30 on Friday, and from 11:30 until 22:30 on Saturday and
Sunday, a music festival will take place at Peckham Rye Park. Large crowds
and increased traffic levels are expected.
Friday 23 May until early June
A312 Harlington Road East
From 21:00 on Friday 23 May, Harlington Road East will be closed 24/7. It
will be "access only" from Browells Lane to the A244 Hounslow Road for at
least one week. Signposted diversion routes will be in place. This is to
allow sewage repairs to be carried out by Thames Water.
Saturday 24 May
Central London
From 07:00 on Saturday until 01:00 on Sunday, John Adam Street will be
closed for filming.
From 13:30 until 15:30, a protest march will take place from Hyde Park
Corner to Holland Park. Large crowds are expected.
West London
From 07:00 until 15:00, a charity race will take place at Old Deer Park,
Richmond, heading south through Kingston and finishing in Brighton. The race
will take place on footways, with no road closures in place. Large crowds
are expected along the route.
Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May
Wembley Stadium
From 13:00 until 18:00 on Saturday, and from 11:30 until 17:00 on Sunday,
Wembley Stadium will host football matches, with kick off at 15:00 on
Saturday and 13:00 on Sunday. There is a possibility that each match may go
to extra time and penalties. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are
expected before and after each match, with local road closures in place
around the stadium.
Sunday 25 May
East London
From 09:00 until 13:00, a cycling event will take place across east London,
with road closures along the route. Large crowds and increased traffic
levels are expected.
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
From 18:00 until 20:00, a netball match will take place at Copper Box Arena.
Large crowds are expected before and after the match.
Wembley Arena
From 19:00 until 22:30, Wembley Arena will host a music event. Large crowds
and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the event.
Santander Cycles
The following docking stations will be closed this weekend:

Since the Silvertown Tunnel's opening on Monday 7 April, =
customers using pay as you go for DLR journeys between Island Gardens =
and Cutty Sark/Greenwich will have their journeys refunded for at least =
a year. Customers must touch in and out at the station as usual, and the =
fare for the journey will be taken as normal. A refund will then be =
issued to customers' cards within 14 days of completing the journey. For =
