MAMA TERRA - Official ‘Chameleons (Live Interpretations Of Herbie Hancock)’ 
Album Launch




Signed by Acid Jazz’s Dean Rudland, following a tip-off from Christian Bragg 
of Jazz FM, Mama Terra is the brainchild of Glaswegian pianist and composer 
Marco Cafolla.




'The Summoned' was the incredible debut LP from Mama Terra on Acid Jazz 
Records in 2023. The Jazz/Spiritual/Soul/Roots based record has influences 
from John & Alice Coltrane, Nina Simone, McCoy Tyner, & Miles Davis to 
Kamasi Washington, Erykah Badu, & Robert Glasper.




The debut Mama Terra single 'Ruptura' went straight in at #1 on the Itunes 
Jazz chart.




The official launch of the Mama Terra new album 'Chameleons: Live 
interpretations of Herbie Hancock' is at the Forge on Thursday 13th February 
2025.
