Bus strike action
From 05:00 on Friday 29 until 05:00 on Saturday 30 August, and from 05:00 on
Monday 1 until 05:00 on Tuesday 2 September, industrial action will impact
some bus services in west, northwest and southwest London, with little or no
service expected on affected routes.

No service between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/West Croydon after
23:30 each night
Use Tram services or local bus routes. A Southern Railway replacement bus
will depart from London Bridge to Streatham Hill (via Crystal Palace) at
23:58, and to East Croydon (via Norwood Junction) at 00:35.
DLR
Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August
No service between Stratford International and Woolwich Arsenal, and between
Poplar and Beckton
Use Tube, Elizabeth line or national rail services, or local bus routes.
Rail replacement buses will run between Canary Wharf and Gallions Reach (via
Beckton), between Canning Town and King George V, and between Canning Town
and London City Airport. This is due to the testing of new trains and works
carried out by third parties.
Buses and roads
Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes over the weekend.
Strike action is also planned on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August, and on
Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 September, impacting bus services in west, northwest
and southwest London, with little or no service expected on affected routes.
Until Friday 5 September
A206 Pettman Crescent
There will be lane restrictions southbound on the A206 at the junction of
Western Way and Pettman Crescent.
Pettman Crescent will be completely closed at the junction with Plumstead
High Street between Thursday 28 and Sunday 31 August.
During these works, delays are expected. This is due to borough works on

From 17:30 until 20:00, a protest will take place on Regent Street. Large
crowds are expected.
Friday 29 until Sunday 31 August
Indoor entertainment venues and stadiums
Music events and football matches will take place in the below venues at the
following dates and times:
* Stamford Bridge - 12:30 until 14:30, Saturday 30 August
* Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - 15:00 until 17:00, Saturday 30 August
* Wembley Stadium - 18:00 to 22:45, Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after each
event, with local road closures in place around the stadiums.
Outdoor music events and festivals
Music events and festivals will take place at the following location each
day at specific times:
* Old Deer Park, Richmond - 12:30 to 22:30, Friday 29 until Sunday 31 August
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected for each event.
Saturday 30 August
Blackfriars Road
From 07:00 until 11:00, Blackfriars Road will be closed in both directions
at the junction with Union Street and The Cut. Signed diversions will be in
place during this closure.

matches. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Sunday 31 August
Olympia
From 09:00 until 17:00, a jewellery exhibition will take place at Olympia,
Kensington. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Enfield
From 10:00 until 17:00, an annual car show will take place at Capel Manor
College. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Lords Cricket Ground
From 14:00 until 21:00, Lords Cricket Ground will host multiple cricket
matches. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Santander Cycles
The following docking stations are suspended this weekend:
