We have a legal duty to supply our products in conformity with our agreemen=

<p>For hire products please be aware that, although Speedy Hire may carry o=
ut certain services on our behalf, our agreement is between you and us and =
not you and Speedy Hire.</p>
<p>We also draw your attention to the limits of our liability set out in th=
ose terms; please note that, among other things, we do not accept liability=
for loss which is not foreseeable and certain other categories of loss, in=
cluding loss of profits, business, contracts, goodwill, business opportunit=
y and other similar losses. </p>
<p>You must take good care of hire products when they are in your possessio=
n and follow all operating or safety instructions provided to you. You must=
not provide hire products to anyone else, allow them to become attached to=
land or buildings, or remove them from the UK.</p>
<p><strong>Payment and delivery</strong></p>
<p>Products/services (and delivery charges) must be paid for in advance, un=
less we agree otherwise. Despite our best efforts, we may occasionally make=
pricing errors. If this happens then we will not be obliged to supply our =
products or services at the incorrect price or at all. Our Ts&Cs (see /=
/www.diy.com/customer-support/policies/terms/) provide further information =
on the steps we will take in these circumstances. </p>
<p>Subject to availability and our delivery terms, we will take reasonable =
steps to start services and deliver products on any date we agree or, for p=
roduct orders, if no date is specified, within 30 days of your order. For h=
ire products, subject to Speedy Hire confirming the availability of your or=
dered hire products and our delivery terms, we will take reasonable steps t=
o deliver your hire products on any date we agreed with you. </p>
<p>Occasionally these dates may be affected by factors beyond our control o=
r, for hire products, Speedy Hire's control, so these dates cannot be guara=
nteed. We do not recommend removing fixtures and fittings, until you have r=
eceived your ordered products and checked them for defects or missing parts=
. </p>
<p><strong>Returns/cancellation</strong></p>
<p><strong>Products:</strong> You may cancel your order for products for an=
y reason before dispatch (where applicable) or within 90 days after deliver=
y or collection (as applicable) by returning the products to a B&Q stor=
e or contacting us (details below) to arrange; you may use the cancellation=
form below. Products which are: customised for you; liable to deteriorate =
rapidly; not suitable for return for health/hygiene reasons (once the produ=
ct packaging has been opened); or mixed inseparably with other items after =
delivery or collection, are all excluded from this cancellation right. Othe=
r conditions and exclusions may apply; please see our Ts&Cs (//www.diy.=
com/customer-support/policies/terms/). Your rights if products are faulty a=
re unaffected. Products must be returned without delay and no later than 14=
days after the date you cancel your order, unless we agree that you may di=
spose of the products (in which case please comply with any disposal instru=
ctions). </p>
<p>Unless the products are purchased and delivered simultaneously while we =
are in your property, you are responsible for the cost of returning the unw=
anted products. For certain products we offer a collection service. Please =
contact us for further details. We may charge a fee for this service (the f=
ee will depend on the products returned, but will not exceed =C2=A350). You=
must take care of the unwanted products; you must not use the products (ex=
cept to the extent reasonably necessary to examine them). We may reduce you=
r refund if you breach this requirement and the value of the products is di=
minished and we may withhold a refund until the products are returned to us=
or we receive evidence of their return (where applicable). If you cancel p=
art of an order, we may recalculate any applicable delivery charge and dedu=
ct this from the refund. </p>
<p><strong>Services:</strong> You may cancel your order for services for an=
y reason after you have placed your order and thereafter for up to 14 days =
commencing the day after the date we accept your order (as set out in claus=
e 2 of our Supply & Install Terms and Conditions) by contacting us; you=
may use the cancellation form below. If we start to provide the services a=
t your request before the end of this period then you will be required to p=
ay for the services carried out prior to you contacting us. You will not ha=
ve the right to cancel your order for services once we have completed those=
services. Other conditions and exclusions may apply; please see our Ts&=
;Cs (//www.diy.com/customer-support/policies/terms/). </p>
<p><strong>Hire Products:</strong> If you are a consumer you may cancel you=
r order in respect of hire products within 14 days from the day on which yo=
u receive your order confirmation by contacting us to arrange for a collect=
ion date or you may use the cancellation form below. If the hire period sta=
ted in your order will start within this 14 day period you agree that we ca=
n deliver the hire products to you and the hire period will start within th=
e 14 day cancellation period. If the hire period has finished within this 1=
4 day period you will cease to have a right to cancel.</p>
<p>In the event the hire products have been delivered within the 14 day can=
cellation period and then you wish to cancel the hire before the end of the=
hire period or you wish to cancel the order on the agreed delivery date yo=
u will be able to cancel the order and the hire products will be collected =
on the agreed date or not delivered (as applicable). If cancellation is mad=
e within the hire period a proportionate amount of the price based on the n=
umber of days for which you had possession of the hire products (ending on =
the time we are informed of your decision to cancel) will be deducted from =
the refund.</p>
<p>We reserve the right to make a deduction from the amount of any refund f=
or loss in value of the hire products returned where the hire products show=
signs of unreasonable use; for these purposes, unreasonable use includes h=
andling the hire products beyond what is necessary to establish the nature,=
characteristics and functioning of the hire products, in particular, if it=
goes beyond the sort of handling that might reasonably be allowed in a sho=
p. Where you are in possession of the hire products, we may withhold any re=
fund until we have collected the hire products.</p>

<p><strong>Plans</strong></p>
<p>If we produce a design or plan for you it is for the sole purpose of pro=
viding you with an estimate and is indicative only. We will not be liable f=
or the accuracy and suitability of the plan and you should not rely on it. =
We recommend that you have a survey completed before carrying out any insta=
llation work or otherwise relying on the plan.</p>
<p><strong>Faulty products</strong></p>
<p>If there is a problem with your products or any shortage or non-delivery=
, please contact us. You can return faulty products in store. </p>
<p><strong>Faulty hire products</strong></p>
<p>If there is a problem with your hire products or any shortage or non-del=
ivery or you are unable to operate them, you must notify Speedy Hire on the=
telephone number stated on your order confirmation as soon as is reasonabl=
y possible. If you cannot reach Speedy Hire or are not happy with their res=
ponse, you can contact us using the contact details below. </p>
<p><strong>Workmanship Guarantee</strong></p>
<p>The workmanship carried out during our provision of services may be subj=
ect to a Workmanship Guarantee. Please see separate terms.</p>

<p>If we have been unable to resolve your complaint for you, you may wish t=

We have a legal duty to supply our products in conformity with our agreemen=
t with you (which includes these terms). Please read these terms carefully;=

<p>For hire products please be aware that, although Speedy Hire may carry o=
ut certain services on our behalf, our agreement is between you and us and =
not you and Speedy Hire.</p>
<p>We also draw your attention to the limits of our liability set out in th=
ose terms; please note that, among other things, we do not accept liability=
for loss which is not foreseeable and certain other categories of loss, in=
cluding loss of profits, business, contracts, goodwill, business opportunit=
y and other similar losses. </p>
<p>You must take good care of hire products when they are in your possessio=
n and follow all operating or safety instructions provided to you. You must=
not provide hire products to anyone else, allow them to become attached to=
land or buildings, or remove them from the UK.</p>
<p><strong>Payment and delivery</strong></p>
<p>Products/services (and delivery charges) must be paid for in advance, un=
less we agree otherwise. Despite our best efforts, we may occasionally make=
pricing errors. If this happens then we will not be obliged to supply our =
products or services at the incorrect price or at all. Our Ts&Cs (see /=
/www.diy.com/customer-support/policies/terms/) provide further information =
on the steps we will take in these circumstances. </p>
<p>Subject to availability and our delivery terms, we will take reasonable =
steps to start services and deliver products on any date we agree or, for p=
roduct orders, if no date is specified, within 30 days of your order. For h=
ire products, subject to Speedy Hire confirming the availability of your or=
dered hire products and our delivery terms, we will take reasonable steps t=
o deliver your hire products on any date we agreed with you. </p>
<p>Occasionally these dates may be affected by factors beyond our control o=
r, for hire products, Speedy Hire's control, so these dates cannot be guara=
nteed. We do not recommend removing fixtures and fittings, until you have r=
eceived your ordered products and checked them for defects or missing parts=
. </p>
<p><strong>Returns/cancellation</strong></p>
<p><strong>Products:</strong> You may cancel your order for products for an=
y reason before dispatch (where applicable) or within 90 days after deliver=
y or collection (as applicable) by returning the products to a B&Q stor=
e or contacting us (details below) to arrange; you may use the cancellation=
form below. Products which are: customised for you; liable to deteriorate =
rapidly; not suitable for return for health/hygiene reasons (once the produ=
ct packaging has been opened); or mixed inseparably with other items after =
delivery or collection, are all excluded from this cancellation right. Othe=
r conditions and exclusions may apply; please see our Ts&Cs (//www.diy.=
com/customer-support/policies/terms/). Your rights if products are faulty a=
re unaffected. Products must be returned without delay and no later than 14=
days after the date you cancel your order, unless we agree that you may di=
spose of the products (in which case please comply with any disposal instru=
ctions). </p>
<p>Unless the products are purchased and delivered simultaneously while we =
are in your property, you are responsible for the cost of returning the unw=
anted products. For certain products we offer a collection service. Please =
contact us for further details. We may charge a fee for this service (the f=
ee will depend on the products returned, but will not exceed =C2=A350). You=
must take care of the unwanted products; you must not use the products (ex=
cept to the extent reasonably necessary to examine them). We may reduce you=
r refund if you breach this requirement and the value of the products is di=
minished and we may withhold a refund until the products are returned to us=
or we receive evidence of their return (where applicable). If you cancel p=
art of an order, we may recalculate any applicable delivery charge and dedu=
ct this from the refund. </p>
<p><strong>Services:</strong> You may cancel your order for services for an=
y reason after you have placed your order and thereafter for up to 14 days =
commencing the day after the date we accept your order (as set out in claus=
e 2 of our Supply & Install Terms and Conditions) by contacting us; you=
may use the cancellation form below. If we start to provide the services a=
t your request before the end of this period then you will be required to p=
ay for the services carried out prior to you contacting us. You will not ha=
ve the right to cancel your order for services once we have completed those=
services. Other conditions and exclusions may apply; please see our Ts&=
;Cs (//www.diy.com/customer-support/policies/terms/). </p>
<p><strong>Hire Products:</strong> If you are a consumer you may cancel you=
r order in respect of hire products within 14 days from the day on which yo=
u receive your order confirmation by contacting us to arrange for a collect=
ion date or you may use the cancellation form below. If the hire period sta=
ted in your order will start within this 14 day period you agree that we ca=
n deliver the hire products to you and the hire period will start within th=
e 14 day cancellation period. If the hire period has finished within this 1=
4 day period you will cease to have a right to cancel.</p>
<p>In the event the hire products have been delivered within the 14 day can=
cellation period and then you wish to cancel the hire before the end of the=
hire period or you wish to cancel the order on the agreed delivery date yo=
u will be able to cancel the order and the hire products will be collected =
on the agreed date or not delivered (as applicable). If cancellation is mad=
e within the hire period a proportionate amount of the price based on the n=
umber of days for which you had possession of the hire products (ending on =
the time we are informed of your decision to cancel) will be deducted from =
the refund.</p>
<p>We reserve the right to make a deduction from the amount of any refund f=
or loss in value of the hire products returned where the hire products show=
signs of unreasonable use; for these purposes, unreasonable use includes h=
andling the hire products beyond what is necessary to establish the nature,=
characteristics and functioning of the hire products, in particular, if it=
goes beyond the sort of handling that might reasonably be allowed in a sho=
p. Where you are in possession of the hire products, we may withhold any re=
fund until we have collected the hire products.</p>

<p><strong>Plans</strong></p>
<p>If we produce a design or plan for you it is for the sole purpose of pro=

or the accuracy and suitability of the plan and you should not rely on it. =
We recommend that you have a survey completed before carrying out any insta=
llation work or otherwise relying on the plan.</p>
<p><strong>Faulty products</strong></p>
<p>If there is a problem with your products or any shortage or non-delivery=
, please contact us. You can return faulty products in store. </p>
<p><strong>Faulty hire products</strong></p>
<p>If there is a problem with your hire products or any shortage or non-del=
ivery or you are unable to operate them, you must notify Speedy Hire on the=
telephone number stated on your order confirmation as soon as is reasonabl=
y possible. If you cannot reach Speedy Hire or are not happy with their res=
ponse, you can contact us using the contact details below. </p>
<p><strong>Workmanship Guarantee</strong></p>
<p>The workmanship carried out during our provision of services may be subj=
ect to a Workmanship Guarantee. Please see separate terms.</p>
