No service between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone
Use local and temporary bus services to connect with alternative Tube routes
via the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines.
Customers for central London can also use London Northwestern Railway
services from Watford Junction, Bushey, Wembley Central or Harrow &
Wealdstone. These services will continue to run during the works.
Temporary bus routes 718, 719 and 720 will be available during the closure
period:
* Route 718 will run between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone

Saturday 17 August until Sunday 1 September
Planned works and closures on Piccadilly line
During this time there will be:
* No service between Wood Green and Cockfosters (no service between King's
Cross and Cockfosters from 00:30 to 06:00 on Saturday 17 August)
* No service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge (Metropolitan line services
will run as normal)
* A reduced Piccadilly line service between Wood Green and Acton Town
* A reduced number of services running to Heathrow Terminal 4
Customers travelling to central London from stations between Bounds Green
and Cockfosters should use local bus services to alternative nearby stations
served by Northern line, London Overground or national rail services.
Rail replacement buses will run between Wood Green and Cockfosters, but
capacity will be limited.
A normal service will resume on Monday 2 September.

For Shadwell and Wapping, use local bus route D3 from Whitechapel. For
Rotherhithe, use local bus routes C10 or 381 from Canada Water or
Bermondsey.
Rail replacement buses will run between Dalston Kingsland and New Cross
Gate, and between Canada Water and Clapham Junction. A Southern Railway
replacement bus service will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace.
This is due to TfL projects.
Sunday 11 August
No service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction until 09:30
Use local bus routes. Southern Railway trains will also not run during this
time. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.
London Overground services between Liverpool Street and Chingford will not
call at Bethnal Green until after 23:30
Use alternative London Overground, Tube services or local bus routes.
Customers for Bethnal Green should change at Hackney Downs on a train
to/from Enfield Town or Cheshunt. This is due to Network Rail structural
maintenance work.
Monday 12 until Thursday 15 August
No service between Sydenham and West Croydon after 22:15 each night
After this time, West Croydon train services will divert to Crystal Palace.
Use local bus routes, tram or Southern Railway services. This is due to
Network Rail maintenance work.
Elizabeth line
Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August
Trains will not call at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing from 23:00
on Saturday until 09:15 on Sunday
Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes. This is due to Network
Rail maintenance work.
DLR
The following closures are due to track works.
Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August
No service between Stratford International and Woolwich Arsenal
Use local bus routes or Southeastern Railway services between Greenwich and
Woolwich Arsenal. Rail replacement buses will run between Canning Town and
King George V/London City Airport.
No service between Poplar and Beckton
Use local bus routes. Rail replacement buses will run between Canary Wharf
and Gallions Reach via Beckton. Poplar station is inaccessible to large
vehicles and unable to be served by rail replacement buses.
Buses and roads
Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes this weekend. We
expect to run a good service, but buses may be delayed, diverted or stop
short of their normal destination.
Thursday 8 August
Horse Guards Parade
From 12:00 until 13:30, a guard of honour is taking place on Horse Guards
Parade. Traffic holds will be implemented on Birdcage Walk when required
during the event.
The Oval
From 10:30 until 19:00, The Oval will host The Hundred cricket tournament.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Friday 9 August
Trafalgar Square
From 11:00 until 18:00, a demonstration will take place outside the High
Commission of Uganda. Large crowds are expected.
Lord's Cricket Ground
From 15:00 until 21:00, Lord's Cricket Ground will host The Hundred cricket
tournament. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Friday 9 until Sunday 11 August
Gunnersbury Park
From 14:00 until 22:30 on Friday and Saturday, and from 14:00 until 22:00 on
Sunday, Gunnersbury Park will host a music festival. Large crowds and
increased traffic levels are expected.
Crystal Palace
From 14:00 until 22:30 each day, Crystal Palace Bowl will host a music
festival. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Morden Park
From 15:30 until 23:30 each day, Morden Park will host a music festival.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Saturday 10 August
Central London
From 09:00 until 18:00, a cycling event will take place through central
London. The event has multiple starting points in King's Cross, Paddington
and Croydon, and finishes at Mile End. Large crowds, increased traffic
levels and delays are expected.
From 13:00 until 15:00, a demonstration will take place at Parliament
Square. Large crowds are expected.
From 13:00 until 16:00, a demonstration will take place at Whitehall. Large
crowds are expected.
Twickenham Stadium
From 12:00 until 21:30, Twickenham Stadium will host a religious event.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Wembley Stadium
From 13:00 until 18:00 on Saturday 10 August, Wembley Stadium will be
hosting the Community Shield football match between Manchester City and
Manchester United. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected
before and after the match.
O2 Arena
From 18:30 until 22:30, the O2 Arena will host Peter Kay Live. Large crowds
and increased traffic levels are expected.
Sunday 11 August
Edgware Road/Connaught Street
From 06:00 until 11:00, traffic holds will be in place on Edgware Road
between Seymour Street and Burwood Place while filming takes place.
Increased traffic levels and delays are expected.
Uxbridge Road
From 07:00 until 17:00, Uxbridge Road will be closed between High Street and
Northfield Avenue. Additional localised road closures will also be in place.
Central London
From 11:00 until 19:00, a music event will take place at the Trinidad &
Tobago High Commission. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are
expected.
Sunday 11 and Monday 12 August
O2 Arena
From 18:30 until 22:30 each night, the O2 Arena will host Justin Timberlake
in concert. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Until Tuesday 13 August
A4 Great West Road
Between 22:00 and 05:00 each night until Tuesday 13 August, the A4 Great
West Road will be closed overnight between Chiswick Roundabout and the
junction with Ealing Road. Plan ahead and allow more time for your journey.
Signed diversion routes will be in place. This is due to urgent National
Highways work.
Until Sunday 18 August
Lille Road/Old Brompton Road
Until Sunday 18 August, Lille Road/Old Brompton Road will be closed in both
directions between the junctions of Seagrave Road and Eardley Crescent for
Thames Water works.
Until Wednesday 28 August
Whitehall
There will be two separate directional closures of Whitehall for works by
Westminster City Council.
Work will take place Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00, and Saturdays
between 08:00 and 13:00, starting on the southbound carriageway from the
junction with Trafalgar Square, before moving to northbound from Wednesday
14 August, from the junction with Great Scotland Yard.
While the closures are in place, all traffic including some bus services
will be on diversion. Follow the official diversion routes, check before you
travel
