Reference recent communication. Claiming for free NHS prescription.
It has been claimed that I have received a free NHS prescription between 21=
st August and 05 September 2024

I=92m not sure how I could of claimed a free prescription during this time =
as I pay towards an exemption certificate which as I=92m aware is paid in a=
dvance.
As I was away on holiday from 20th =96 to the 24th I couldn=92t have been p=
icked up by me. I also was away from 31st August  until 10th September for =
my 60th birthday on the 3rd of September so I was under the impression that=
 prescriptions are free at 60 years of age.
Therefor days it would have been picked up would have been between 26th and=
 29th. I have no recollection of picking up a prescription at this time as =
the ordering and picking up of my prescription is very infrequent.
If it was picked up in this time surely having a pre-paid prescription 1 mo=
nth in advance would have covered this.

My direct debit for prescriptions has always been on time and I cancelled i=
t from effect of my 60th birthday. 03/09/24

I=92m very upset about some of the wording on the letter I have received an=
d it has caused me great concern and stress considering my medication is fo=
r a previous stroke.
I don=92t feel I had to pay for this prescription if in fact I had it, as p=
reviously mention as I monthly contributed in advance to a PCN
Nothing has been personally done by intent to claim a free prescription and=
 considering I have paid towards the PCN for the past several years. I woul=
d hope you will tack this into consideration.

If the timing has been out on the delivering and picking up of the prescrip=
tion then I am quite happy to pay the payment for the prescription but by n=
o means will I pay a PCN and will take this to the highest courts in the la=
nd.

The most this is, is a misunderstanding over the times of my 60th birthday =
and I hope you will use common sense on this.

<p class=3D"MsoNormal">It has been claimed that I have received a free NHS =
prescription between 21<sup>st</sup> August and 05 September 2024</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">I=92m not sure how I could of claimed a free prescri=
ption during this time as I pay towards an exemption certificate which as I=
=92m aware is paid in advance.</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">As I was away on holiday from 20<sup>th</sup> =96 to=
 the 24<sup>th</sup> I couldn=92t have been picked up by me. I also was awa=
y from 31<sup>st</sup> August&nbsp; until 10<sup>th</sup> September for
<strong>my 60<sup>th</sup></strong> birthday on the 3<sup>rd</sup> of Septe=
mber so I was under the impression that prescriptions
<strong>are free</strong> at 60 years of age.</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">Therefor days it would have been picked up would hav=
e been between 26<sup>th</sup> and 29<sup>th</sup>. I have no recollection =
of picking up a prescription at this time as the ordering and picking up of=
 my prescription is very infrequent.</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">If it was picked up in this time surely having a pre=
-paid prescription 1 month in advance would have covered this.</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">My direct debit for prescriptions has always been on=
 time and I cancelled it from effect of my 60<sup>th</sup> birthday. 03/09/=
24</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">I=92m very upset about some of the wording on the le=
tter I have received and it has caused me great concern and stress consider=
ing my medication is for a previous stroke.</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">I don=92t feel I had to pay for this prescription if=
 in fact I had it, as previously mention as I monthly contributed in advanc=
e to a PCN</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">Nothing has been personally done by intent to claim =
a free prescription and considering I have paid towards the PCN for the pas=
t several years. I would hope you will tack this into consideration.</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">If the timing has been out on the delivering and pic=
king up of the prescription then I am quite happy to pay the payment for th=
e prescription but by no means will I pay a PCN and will take this to the h=
ighest courts in the land.</p>

<p class=3D"MsoNormal">The most this is, is a misunderstanding over the tim=
es of my 60<sup>th</sup> birthday and I hope you will use common sense on t=
his.</p>
