Dear Owners,

I hope this email finds you well and that you and your families have had a 
wonderful summer.  The purpose of my email is to update you on the proposed 
plans to refurbish selected areas at Naish and other matters which were 
raised at the owner session with John and Jim.




At this session, we shared some concept boards on the potential 
refurbishment plans at Naish and explained how we make final decisions on 
capital in September. I am delighted to confirm that plans to totally 
transform the changing village will be taking place, alongside some minor 
improvement by the park team to the sauna and the pool lining.




However, we will not be able to progress with the refurbishment of the 
outdoor terrace. As mentioned during the session with John and Jim, this was 
a project that was to come.




When exactly is the approved refurbishment taking place?

Works are likely to commence from January 2025. We are in the tender process 
now. Just as soon as we have confirmed dates, we will share them with you.




Where you refurbish, how are you planning on providing alternative 
facilities?

We are currently working through the details of the project and how we 
continue to offer the Hoburne experience during the period of refurbishment. 
We will share these plans with you in due course.




How long will the works go on for?

Whilst we cannot guarantee a completion date, we aim to have the works ready 
for you and holiday makers shortly after Easter 2025. We will keep you 
updated with progress along the way, so do bear with us if things change.

We’d like to thank those who attended this session. It was heart-warming to 
see and hear the passion that you have for Naish, and it was brilliant to 
hear that we have been much better at getting closer to you and the things 
that are important to you. John and Jim were very appreciative of your time 
and were excited to see so many of you.  They both enjoyed discussing plans 
and listening to your suggestions of how to make things better at Naish.




Here is a summary of the common themes that came out of the sessions, not 
just at Naish, but across a number of our parks.  These are the areas that 
we are committing to focus on in the coming year.



Licence extensions

Please bear with us on this, as we look into the possibilities.




Sublet – damage and visibility

We are going to be undertaking a review of this and will look to propose 
improvements in 2025.




Additional sporadic passes

We are going to be undertaking a review of this and will look to propose 
improvements in 2025.




Disabled access

Where we have had feedback on the need to improve wheelchair access, we are 
already looking to make this happen.




Security – access to park

We have already implemented the following measures:

> Increased checking of passes where the entrances are more open
> Increased management walk arounds on parks
> Random speeding checks
> All grounds and housekeeping team upskilled on greetings and park rules
> Park security self-audits




We are also looking into the possibility of introducing access controls to 
Leisure areas and entertainment venues. This project is in early stages.




Dogs

A full review of how we achieve the right balance of welcoming our 
four-legged friends, whilst also making it comfortable for those guests and 
owners who are allergic or prefer not to be around dogs.  We’re hoping to 
share some plans in early 2025.




Activities for older kids (11yrs+)

We have begun brainstorming ideas of how we can create activities, spaces or 
experiences that engage older children whilst staying with us. We will also 
be discussing what enhancements we could perhaps make to our accommodation. 
These ideas are in the early stages, so if there are any particular ideas 
you’d like to share with us, please do leave your idea with a member of the 
reception team to pass on.




Adult-only spaces

We heard a real desire from some owners for an adult-only space.  Therefore 
this October half term we will be trialling Saturday chill sessions here at 
Naish and a couple of other parks.  We will identify areas within the bar 
that are better suited for adults and families without young children and a 
visiting act will perform two sets from 9pm and 10pm to cater for adults and 
families with older children.



Food & Beverage experience

We’ve heard you loud and clear!  As mentioned previously we have been 
working on a guest service improvement plan to improve the overall 
experience in our venues.  Small changes you might already notice include 
opening the Venue from 5pm, the next winter menu will feature smaller plates 
(at a lower, more accessible price) and we have introduced a ‘Happy Hour’ 
each Sunday, 8pm to 10*pm where owners will receive 15% off food and drink 
purchases for the next few weeks.




We’re also pleased to let you know that we will not be stopping the 
increased credit of 15% on food and drink purchases at the end of the year, 
but instead will continue to offer this to you into 2025. Other owner 
benefits including free activities, family & friends reward card will also 
remain.



Next listening sessions

With the rich feedback from our last session, the team have been and will 
continue to work through the feedback over the coming months. The next owner 
listening session will be taking place in early 2025.  Dates will be 
confirmed in the next owner event calendar.




Update on technology

Please be aware that in January, we are switching to a new system which will 
enable us to improve our service to you. This will be a transformational 
change and we’re very excited about it - training and testing have already 
started.  The January changeover will however be challenging for the team, 
so please do be patient with them during the first few months of 2025, as 
they adapt to the new system. We’ll be able to share more details about what 
the new system means to you and how this will improve your experience.
