I thought I'd let you know the outcome of my research. I contacted both =
RadioMaster and Mike Shellim (RC-Soar), and both independently =
recommended using two ExpressLRS PWM receivers configured for sequential =
channel ranges rather than using an SBUS decoder.

RadioMaster also confirmed that an ER8GV and an ER4G can be used =
together to provide independent PWM outputs for all nine functions of =
the Inside F5J, although they recommend using two ER8GV receivers for =
maximum compatibility and redundancy.

primarily because of its built-in variometer. However, I would like to =
retain independent control of all six wing servos (left and right outer =
ailerons, left and right inner ailerons, and left and right flaps), =
together with the elevator, rudder, and ESC.

Could you please advise what receiver and wiring arrangement you would =
recommend for this model?

Specifically:

- Is the ER8GV a suitable choice for the Inside F5J?
- If so, do most builders use SBUS decoders or another method to retain =
