Enquiry: Yesterday I used my recently purchased Dual Sky 30LITE ESC
(invoice 109023) and VERY disappointed in it. I bought the thing
because, according to the blurb, it had the brake SET as standard and
turns out it hasn't. I had it mounted in a glider ( an old design
Sailplanes International Osprey) with appropriate motor/prop which is
pulling 22 amps initially on a full charge so well within the ESC
parameters, but no brake at all in flight, the prop just windmilling
all the time on throttle off and for some reason will not restart in
the air but will after landing and no, nothing is getting hot. I have
carried out the throttle calibration numerous times with no joy, and
because It is not reprogrammable without a "suitable interface" I will
not be using it anymore. So before I give it a negative review I
thought I would see your response. Unfortunately I have soldered an
XT60 connector on it so the thing is now unreturnable in original
condition.
