I appreciate it is a struggle to understand what has occurred but the =
fact remains it has occurred and all stemming from the one root cause =
and event. We had the manufacturing defect as the root cause and then =
we had a series of escalating issues as components failed with circa 8v =
going to components and down paths to ground not designed to see circa =
8v. As a direct result we got next level fails and thermal runaway as =
wires melted, further component failures and direct shorts occurred, =
including shorting into the other wing section. I have sent photos of =
melted wiring to VM and can provide more. This why all wing wiring and =
4 servos suffered the same damage as did the FrSky Archer Plus GR8 =
receiver.=20

What we agreed on the phone seems a fair solution in that all three =
parties share in the cost. No one wins or will be happy but it seems =
reasonable.=20
1) I will pay for a new receiver (Euro 55)
2) Vladimir models (VM) will provide a replacement wing, both sections.=20
Of course this should include the supply of the control horns, wing =
wiring, 4 pin left and right wiring harnesses etc
NB, these need to be declared on import paperwork as "warranty =
replacement" to minimise imports costs and taxes. VM mark items as a =
"gift" ... this term is not accepted by Spanish customs.
To help with time scale and costs I do not mind what colour is provided =
so long as it is new and to the current specification. I believe VM =
have a wing in stock which has slight paint damage (Alex offered to sell =
this to me recently) and that would be an acceptable replacement if that =
helps.
3) I have already paid half price plus import costs to purchase an X08 =
from Hyperflight so HF and I have shared in replacing one servo
4) Hyperflight will provide one KST X08 servo and two KST X06N FOC and I =
will pay the import charges and taxes.

One thing we did not discuss is time which of course is important to me, =
especially as so much time has passed already. So please can you reply =
to this email with both confirmation of your agreement and a promise for =
dispatch timeline. Should the timeline be too long I reserve my right =

paid and then claiming compensation for damaged component for putting me =
at risk of harm as well as costs of the claim.
