Hi Len,

I think the Foxtrot is probably an easier build.

The Purito and the Apex are both very highly regarded, with wonderful build logs
on RCGroups.

Kind regards,

Neil.

Neil,

Many thanks for your reply. I read nothing but good things about you and your
service!

I've looked further at kit options and decided that I would prefer to build a
model with a built-up wing spar and d-box. The RESilience W Competition Elektro
F5L and Foxtrot 2.7 are two kits that look attractive. Do you have an opinion on
which would be the easier build? The Foxtrot has an English manual, but I didn't
notice one for the RESilience.

I'll be building indoors, so I want to avoid dealing with cutting or sanding too
much carbon fiber. I don't mind working with just the tail boom. If you have
other kits that fall into that category which you think might be a good fit,
please let me know.

Thank you!

Len

Hi Les,

I recommend all CHA DS06 servos.

I am not an RC expert but I suggest you consider RC Factory and FrSky radio
systems. They both sell small 6 channel receivers with voltage, altitude and
variometer telemetry built-in.

Kind regards,

Neil.

Subject: Guidance

Hi,

I'm looking at your Magic 3 All-Round and SuperLight F3L 2m kits and realizing
that selecting the right radio components is important. Do you have any radio
system recommendations, especially as it relates to fuselage fit and
performance? I would want a system that I could expand to flaps and ailerons
down the road. I'm currently looking at a Futaba system.

Also, I haven't built in many years but am quite capable. That said, is there a
kit you would recommend for my first build?

Many thanks for your assistance!
