Hi Neil
I've just bought a very nice used Explorer 5 which is ready to go apart from it
not having an ESC.
The drive system is a Typhoon 2W-4600KV with Reisenaur 5:1 gearbox. It is fitted
with a 13 x 6.5" aeronaut propeller.
I would be grateful if you can advise on what ESC to buy and use. Apparently it
did have a DYS Aria 70A BL HELI 32 ESC but the previous owner lost confidence in
it. I would prefer any ESC to have SBEC and I'm happy to use the bullet
connectors already attached to the motor. I presume it will need to be
programmable for a soft start too?
