Dear Tim, I have to apologise, but I am going to hold off a bit on doing
this. While I continue to worry what I leave for my wife to deal with, I do
want to enjoy the things I have collected over the years, and this seems to
be a bit too much of a concession to the inevitable. And, gosh, those
Lowdens play and sound lovely, and so does the Dust Bowl Atkin. I also
realised that Susan, my wife, can simply bring them all to someone for
disposal after, and I will suggest to her that Express would be lovely
people to deal with at that time. Sorry if this sounds a bit morbid, but as
you age these things start to occupy more thoughts. Even though I could do
with having a couple fewer guitars, it's not hurting anything to leave as
is. Perhaps at some point, I might do what I said earlier-and that is to
see if you'd like to sell some on commission-*if you're still willing to
deal with me*. (please don't delete my emails in future) But, I greatly
appreciate your understanding and indulgence. I have gotten several very
nice instruments from your shop these past years, and having dealt with
guitar shops from Nashville to New York and now Leamington, I must say you
are some of the nicest people I have met in this business, and that is
saying something as my last local shop, Mandolin Brothers in New York, was
run by a true gentleman, Stan Jay.

m going to hold off a bit on doing this. While I continue to worry what I l=
eave for my wife to deal with, I do want to enjoy the things I have collect=
ed over the years, and this seems to be a bit too much of a concession to t=
he inevitable. And, gosh, those Lowdens play and sound lovely, and so does =
the Dust Bowl Atkin. I also realised that Susan, my wife, can simply bring =
them all to someone for disposal after, and I will suggest to her that Expr=
ess would be lovely people to deal with at that time. Sorry if this sounds =
a bit morbid, but as you age these things start to occupy more thoughts. Ev=
en though I could do with having a couple fewer guitars, it's not hurti=
ng anything to leave as is. Perhaps at some point, I might do what I said e=
arlier-and that is to see if you'd like to sell some on commission-<i>i=
f you're still willing to deal with me</i>. (please don't delete my=
