Hi Phil,
Thanks for your tip re couriers; Parcelforce, FexEx, Overland & others all =
require packing in a hard case; box was too long for UPS; DHL & Porta wante=
d =C2=A340-60, which given the value is pretty steep, and specialist musica=
l carriers wanted =C2=A3180 for a dedicated van door to door. Parcelforce e=
tc will do it for =C2=A310 but with only =C2=A350 compensation, which would=
n't make me comfortable.
I've bought & sold many guitars and shipped by courier but I guess conditio=
ns have tightened up since last time, or perhaps I was sending less valuabl=
e ones...
Anyway, I'm inclined to pass on the p/x dues to the shipping hassles, buy t=
he Dues and put the Tele on Reverb for local collection, which worked fine =
for the last ones.
