Hi Neil,

Yes, we are happy to do a long distance part exchange, we do this often.

At the moment the action on the Hofner is very low and the frets were 
recently levelled by luthier John Williams.

The neck is very similar to other 60s guitars. Certainly not 50s fat.

Have a think and if you do want to go ahead please notify us of the 
tracking number for your shipment to us and we will take the Hofner here 
off sale for you.
