I would always use a traditional metronome over a digital any day!

I always wanted to try clarinet and everytime I did I sust couldn't get a tone out of the thing. Not with this one! After setting it up with a rico 2 reed on an open 6C mouthpiece, I produced warm and balanced, and most important of all "in tune" notes. The whole experience was just grand! I ended up buying it and have't put my clarinet down since. It's plastic, yeah, but I live in Scotland where the weather changes every 10 minutes. I love the way it's made and sounds. This bass has been my instrument of choice for the past 18 months. It is one of the easiest-playing basses I've ever come across, with a quick action, well balanced construction and excellent tonal response.
Before picking this one up in a sale I never thought about going for a squier bass, mainly due to the bad experiences of friends with affinity series instruments. However, with the standard series there don't seem to be any quality issues, and I feel this bass would suit players of almost all styles.

Just get one!� I am a bass guitar player normally, playing both fretted and fretless bass. Upright bass seemed like the next logical step for me.
Playing this is the most fun that you can have with your clothes on; so expressive and not to difficult a transition from the fretless.

I had an L.R.Baggs Element pick-up fitted, and through my AER compact amp the sound is startling.
I first used it on a gig in Rome, with a bunch of guys with Martins, Nationals ect.. they sniggered somewhat at this 'chitarrina' as one my friend christened it.
They were all gob smacked. I love it.

Obviously because of the price tag its not going to be as nice as a Martin or Taylor but its deffinetly worth it. I had the action lowered a little on mine and it made a world of difference when playing. Id recommend doing that to yours if you end up buying one. Dadarrio strings are best on it, medium light phsphor bronze are the ones i use. A quality guitar with good attention to detail. Heavier than, and more suited to hi-gain than most semis, it has very good pickups with a choice of P90 and H/B tones or combinations of both. The 'Bigsby' type tremolo bridge is the best I have tried with a very smooth action. Switches, knobs and jack socket are heavy duty and well up to pro use. The very last production models used basswood and an Edge III tremolo that is generally seen as inferior but earlier versions like this use a mahogany body and the superior Edge Pro II trem system.
The specification is high and the real selling feature of this guitar is its sheer playability, largely due to the neck-thru construction as it provides unrivalled upper fret access and tons of sustain. Despite having 24 frets, the neck-thru construction means that even at the highest frets your hand is completely unhindered in the way it is on something like a Stratocaster or Les Paul. Once you've played a neck-thru guitar it's not easy to give it up; certainly my main guitar will always be neck-thru.
On top of the unbelieveable upper fret access, the RGT42 also has a beautiful neck. The neck itself is wafer thin so again, there is no wood to hinder your movement and it is far easier to play fast. With a 16" radius neck the action can be set very low and this also makes it a dream to play. For anyone moving up from a starter guitar, you'll be amazed at how much better one of these guitars actually are and of course, the beauty of them is that used, they're not an expensive guitar at all, especially if you can find one in really good condition like this one seems to be. Neck-thru guitars are quite rare and like hen's teeth to find a good one at only �299.
The stock pickups are aimed at Rock and Metal but with good quality tonal woods in use like the maple and walnut neck-thru and mahogany body, it's also a very versatile guitar if you want to change pickups and this guitar does take upgraded pickups very well indeed.
Overall, this is an excellent guitar. It was good value new and it's stunning value if it's a good, used example. � � R��z66938 Jim Deacon short-scale bass.� Weighing in at 7 pounds this instrument is a delight to play. I found adjusting the truss rod, string-to-fret height and individual string "speaking length" straightforward. It has the same overall length as my 24 fret 34in scale Yamaha. I paid �109 for it, complete with gigbag and honestly, it is as well made and finished as my MIA 1970 Fender Precision. It is a bargain and all credit to the luthiers of China! I had a gig to go to that evening so I checked out the A3T and I thought the sound coming out of the amp was excellent with a nice 20s blues sound with an on board tuner helping to set up the tuning and the butterbean machine heads giving a nice retro feel to precedings and giving a very good control of the string tension.
The overall impression of the set up is a very well built guitar with a nice action to go with its pretty looks, good sounds, acoustic or plugged in.
