Hello Ian

We have had a look at your Banjolele, regarding the strings being dead, 
this could be due to the low action not allowing the strings to 
resonate, we are able to raise this slightly and this should a 
difference to the sound, we have adjusted the intonation which has made 
an improvement, we will compare this with the other models that we have 
in stock and see how it is. We will be in contact once we have done the 
comparison.
